I spent most of today trying to get two pages of my latest web design project to look good in IE5. The problem was that I had to use nested tables.
Note to self:
- Do NOT create another site that requires nested tables. They are just not worth the pain.
- Should you design a site requiring nested tables, remember that IE5 does not like the <p> tag, the <h2> or the tags used to make bulleted lists. You have to use <br /> and <b> tags instead.
After battling with IE5 and my nested tables, creating the "Magic Flower" above was easy.
Everything really is relative.
