A truly abstract work which could be some kind of weird green eye. Of course it could be a bird's eye view of two strong gray guys carrying a pearl in an oblong green vase.

The large version is at the preceding link.

Today's Gratitude Item: That I live in such a beautiful city - at least, if you look in the right light. Driving to dance today was a real treat, as the sun was just setting and the city reflected the gold / orange sunlight. It was quite surreal!

Nice effect in the center. Outside looks like silk in some way. It doesn't appear to be an apophysis work, looks softer.
About your gratitude item, those chestertonian sunsets always surprise, Borges said that we see these sunsets with an ancient surprise (which sounds pretty cool); in Chesterton's novels those appear a lot, sometimes meaning something to the plot.

Hmm, how about two "greys" (aliens) snatching an unsuspecting abductee? The white orb is the notorious beam of light.

Yes, I went there. I couldn't resist. LOL

Love your Gratitude Item.

This one is like an optical illusion. To see the effect, scroll up and down quickly using the wheel on the mouse. Awesome!
