I don't like cats. Possibly because they have claws and are not too careful in who they scratch.

Today's Gratitude Item: A problem with one of the websites I look after appears to have been a temporary glitch that fixed itself. I wish all my problems would fix themselves (insert deep sigh here). Truth be told, some of my students are making my life (and theirs) much harder than necessary.

This might be news to you: there are also cats that do not scratch.
