Indian Flag

Dedicated to all of those who live in or have visited this amazing country.

Indian Flag

The wallpaper version is available at the preceding link.

Today's Gratitude Item: A really great dance camp! Turns out that the entire point of camp is to have fun. Learning new dances is co-incidental to the process. Having a DVD with the dances on it for future reference is great as it means not stressing when the going gets a bit tough.

I hope this link would be useful -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_India
. The wheel has 24 spokes in the Flag; symbolises the 24 hours in the day.

Thanks for that link :) If you count carefully, you'll notice that there are 24 spokes on the fractal wheel.

Yes. I had noticed that and was amazed by the accuracy. I wanted to share what it symbolises as the wiki link does not mention it. There are many more reasons for the number 24, for example, the Ashoka Chakra (wheel) is also associated with the teachings of Buddha.
